Kevin Durant was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame on Thursday. Despite being from Maryland, Durant has worked in Oklahoma since 2008. His professional accomplishments were enough to make him one of the 669 members of the Oklahoma HoF. His indcution speech was short and sweet, but he did manage to talk about how it’s a damn ghost town and maybe even drop a hint about where he’ll be playing in the future. Via NewsOK:

"When I came here, I got to the airport and there was nobody there. Then I went to the hotel and there was nobody in the streets. Then I stayed in the Skirvin and I heard it was haunted. So I said, that’s a rough start."

When you think about it, that sounds amazing. People are totally overrated. They’re the worst. I want to live where I have the least chance of running into anyone and Oklahoma sounds like a dream. Speaking of which, did KD drop a hint about his future!?

"And hopefully we’ll be here next year for Russell Westbrook’s induction."

Woah! Looks like Durant is going to re-sign with the Thunder! Either that or he just wants Russell Westbrook to be a member of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame since he’s been playing for the Thunder for the same amount of time. I wonder if Washington, D.C. has a Hall of Fame?
