Central Arizona College guard Trace Dimeff had a fantastic game on Saturday. He scored 27 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 6 assists in an overtime loss to Arizona Western. Although no athlete enjoys losing, Dimeoff will always have the memory of knocking down a clutch three-pointer as time wound down in overtime despite sustaining a severe blow to his head just seconds earlier.
Or maybe he won’t. Who knows?
Dimeff channeling his inner Case Keenum to fight through the wooziness and find the bottom of the net is impressive. But it’s also bit troubling to watch him stumble around like that while play continues. Guess there are no concussion spotters working Arizona Community College Athletic Conference games.
