Blake Griffin and the Clippers mauled the Nuggets in Denver last night, 111-94, but naturally the blowout involved controversy because the Clippers were involved.

Denver tried to claw back into the game by hacking LA’s DeAndre Jordan. The strategy often works, but he actually made 12-of-25 free throws Tuesday. At one point, Blake Griffin got so mad at all the fouls, he said something to Denver coach Mike Malone and got a technical foul.

Whatever Griffin said – try lip reading; the last three words are pretty clear – set Malone off, and he was given a technical foul, too.

The Clippers shot 47 free throws; the Nuggets 29. Los Angeles finally appears to be healthy again, just in time for a 6-game homestand.
