Jimmer Fredette made his NBA D-League debut on Monday night with the Westchester Knicks. In case you were wondering how good you have to be to almost play for the San Antonio Spurs, Jimmer scored 37 points on 17 shots to go along with 8 assists. In case you were wondering how bad the defense is in the D-League, Jimmer scored most of his points on a variety of layups and scoop shots around the basket.

Who cares!?

I don’t care. The NBA is really f—ing difficult. For the first time in 19 months, Jimmer got to play and it felt like we were back watching the Mountain West on Versus. It’s not the NBA. It’s not a big sample size. It’s a start.
