You know Craig Sager’s story by now: he stared death in the face and fought it. While he was in the hospital receiving Leukemia treatment for a year+, he was unable to be on the sidelines to perform his duty as an NBA on TNT reporter — so, one night, he sent his son to cover his shift and interview his arch nemesis: the notoriously cranky Gregg Popovich.
Last season, Craig returned to the sidelines — and while it was great to see him and his amazing suits back at work…
…we needed Sager Sr. to awkwardly yet fascinatingly interview the San Antonio Spurs Head Coach like we need air to breathe.
