CFB Playoffs & New Year's 6 Bowl Game Schedules and Matchups
By Jason Lisk
The CFB Playoff Committee has released its final rankings before the Bowl Games, and has set the Playoff matchups as well as the rest of the New Year’s Six matchups. The playoff pairings will feature Clemson versus Oklahoma, and Alabama versus Michigan State, with the winners to meet on January 11th in the title game.
Iowa only moved to #5 and has been put in the Rose Bowl against Pac-12 champ Stanford. Notre Dame and Ohio State will meet in the Fiesta Bowl; no word if Brady Quinn’s sister will be there. Houston gets the nod among the non-Power 5 teams and will face Florida State in the Peach Bowl, while Baylor’s loss to Texas at home moves Oklahoma State into the Sugar Bowl to face Ole Miss.
The point spreads and announcer information will be updated as it becomes available. Lines via ESPN.
