Steve Sarkisian’s lawsuit against USC for a wrongful firing contains supporting evidence to show he capably performed his job duties. One of the things he points to is the A+ grade given to him for his coaching performance against Arizona State by Bleacher Report featured columnist Sean Frye.

"Not only did Steve Sarkisian completely outwork Todd Graham, but he also did it after a huge upset loss to Stanford. Over the week, he put together a perfect game plan and got his guys to execute it flawlessly. This is one of Sarkisian‘s best games he’s ever coached at USC and certainly will give the Trojans back some of their preseason momentum."

The Trojans dismantled the Sun Devils 42-14 before allegations Sarkisian was under the influence during the game surfaced. It was a fair grade. Sarkisian was able to rally the troops to put on a dominating performance. That preseason momentum, however, was never recaptured.

Let me be perfectly clear here: this is not a knock on Frye or Bleacher Report. The latter is a fine website and the former is undoubtably as knowledgeable about college football as myself.

For instance, I was still predicting Ezekiel Elliott would win the Heisman Trophy in late November. I predicted Oklahoma State to win easily over Oklahoma. And for Bret Bielema to be ousted before Halloween.

But if you can’t find some delight in Sarkisian trolling Google for positive reviews of his performance while filing a multi-million dollar lawsuit like a restaurant owner checking out Yelp, you need to re-calibrate your enjoyment radar.
