Filip Forsberg Uses Jedi Training to Send a Would-Be Checker Flying

Filip Forsberg did not score in the Predators 3-2 win over the Boston Bruins on Monday night. He did however pull off a pretty awesome back-check on Adam McQuaid. Forsberg was up against the boards and saw McQuaid coming so he turned and moved towards the charging defenseman. Forsberg perfectly absorbed the contact and redirected the force of the hit outward. Or something. There are some physics at work here that I’m not 100% clear on. All I know is that McQuiad went flying.
