Golfers Enjoy a Round in 60 mph Winds on Vancouver Island

I love golf as much as the next guy, but I’m not sure I’d brave 60 mph winds and ocean spray in frigid temperatures for a round. Even though I wouldn’t, some members of the Victoria Golf Club on Vancouver Island did just that.

"Members at Victoria Golf Club, located on the southeast tip of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada, enjoy year-round golf on one of the most picturesque stretches of coastline in the world. Occasionally, the club’s direct ocean exposure results in some extreme weather events. On this wild winter day, the combination of 60-knot winds from the southeast, massive waves and an unusually high tide made the course play a little trickier than usual."

This looks ridiculously difficult, although I’m not sure it’s as difficult as the last time we saw a group playing in conditions like this.
