Hero, Legend, Patriot — three powerful words that still don’t do Abby Wambach justice. That’s how great of a career this woman had.

Wambach’s final game with the US Women’s National Team took place Wednesday night vs. China, and no-one really cared that the US lost (0-1) for the first time on home soil since 2004 (104 game unbeaten streak) — because the night was all about celebrating Abby and her accomplishments as the face of women’s soccer in America.

184 goals in 255 games, including some of the most memorable in women’s soccer history:

all came to an end when she was subbed out in the 71st minute:

" WATCH: #USWNT‘s Abby Wambach subbed off, receives a terrific standing ovation from the Superdome crowd. #ThanksAbbyhttps://t.co/0HFQtq2GEu — FOX Soccer (@FOXSoccer) December 17, 2015 "

After her final on-camera interview, she didn’t just drop the mic — she straight Eminem’d the thing like she just roasted Papa Doc at ‘The Shelter’ in 8 Mile:

and broke down en route to the locker room…

…is it getting dusty in here, or is it just me?

I’ve got nothing else to say, other than: Abby Wambach forever — and let’s all toast to this woman’s fantastic legacy.
