The Holy War looked like it would be one of bowl season’s better games. Not so much. BYU has turned the ball over five time in its first five possessions. Utah is up 35-0, with 4:30 remaining in the 1st Quarter.

Two were pick sixes. A third interception set the Utes up on the one-yard line. Utah scored its first 28 points with 26 yards and without throwing a single pass.

Not a bad time for Bronco Mendenhall to sidle out the door to Virginia.

Brent Musburger summed it up like only he can.
