I Can't Stop Laughing at This Matt Cassel Interception

Matt Cassel, who supposedly has a short leash tonight in Dallas, just threw one of the funniest interceptions you’ll ever see. After Buster Skrine of the Jets took away his first option, Cassel lost his footing and immediately tried to unload the pass out of bounds.

Three problems: He didn’t throw it far enough and it was intercepted by Darrelle Revis. Also, he was still between the tackles, so it was technically intentional grounding. Is that the first interception on intentional grounding? I’m not sure I’ve ever seen that.

But these are the Jets we’re talking about – they were stopped on 4th and goal inside the 5-yard line and got no points out of the drive.
