Ian Rapoport and John Elway Having Semantical Back-And-Forth About Peyton Manning

During his weekly nugget brokering for NFL Network, reporter Ian Rapoport said that Peyton Manning, when he becomes healthy, is “pretty serious” about being not “inclined” to serve as Brock Osweiler’s backup in Denver. This prompted a swift immediate response from Broncos general manager John Elway:

Peyton has never told Gary or myself that he doesn't want to be the backup. Any report or rumor that suggests otherwise is incorrect!!
