Aussie Rules Player Allegedly Threatened to Stab Woman With Chopsticks, Won't Face Charges

Dustin Martin is a 24-year old Aussie rules football player. He seems like a nice young man. Earlier this month, Martin was involved in an “incident” after he allegedly spent the day getting drunk at the Stereosonic music festival. The incident took place at a restaurant called Mr Miyagi. Via The Guardian:

"The woman has claimed that Martin threatened to stab her through the face with a chopstick. She said Martin was disturbing other diners with his behaviour and he became angry when she asked him to settle down. She added he then slammed the wall near her head when she confirmed she would contact the club about his behaviour."

Martin apologized to the woman and said he was “deeply embarrassed.” However, police have completed an investigation and decided that no criminal offense took place.
