Fans Throw Underwear on Ice After AHL Goal

The Bakersfield Condors are in their inaugural season with the AHL. A team of the same name shut down last season, but the AHL relocated the Oklahoma City Barons, but thankfully, they kept the original ECHL Condors “Undie Sunday” promotion. After the Condors scored their first goal against the San Diego Gulls on Sunday, fans were encouraged to throw new undergarments on the ice that would be given to charity. My only complaint is that the event was renamed “Sock Toss Sunday.”
