Nick Van Exel is 7-7 in his first season as head coach of the Texas Legends in the NBA D-League. That’s why the D-League seemingly randomly uploaded this mix-tape of highlights from Van Exel’s playing days. As some of you might recall, he was kind of awesome to watch.

The one-time NBA All-Star played 13 seasons in the NBA, averaging 14.4 points and 6.6 assists. He was the centerpiece of the post-Showtime / pre-Shaq and Kobe Lakers, had 3 1/2 good seasons in Denver, and finished his career with stops in Dallas, San Antonio, Portland, and Golden State.
