We’re generally against publishing commercials as editorial content, because doing so devalues our medium by providing free advertising to brands that we hope will pay for it. Nevertheless, I’m breaking that rule for this 90’s Burger King spot featuring Dell Curry and his son.

Steph, who we now know went on to become an NBA champion and MVP, wants to be a basketball player when he grows up, and wants to know how to do it. The lecture he received about hard work and dedication made him crave fast food.

This spot was shown on the jumbotron in Charlotte when Golden State came to town on Monday, and on the Warriors’ CSN Bay Area telecast.
