Florida State's 7-foot-4 Freshman Jean Marc Christ Koumadje Didn't Fare Well Against Brice Johnson

Jean Marc Christ Koumadje is a 19-year old freshman at Florida State. According to the FSU’s website, Koumadje is the tallest player in school history. On Monday night against #6 North Carolina, Koumadje got a little frustrated after giving a foul to Brice Johnson and swatted the ball into the stands. The 7-footer’s loss of composure may have ruined the Seminoles’ momentum and turned the game from a possible upset to a ranked road team taking care of business.

FSU had taken their first – and what would end up being their only – lead of the game just 14-seconds earlier.

Obviously, there was a ton of time remaining in the game and the Tar Heels could have turned it around at any point in the next 15-plus minutes, but this one certainly looked like the game-changer as Carolina scored the next 7 points and never looked back. And of course there was Brice Johnson who scored 39 points on 14-16 shooting and grabbed 23 rebounds. None of FSU’s bigs – and two of them are really big – stood  a chance against Johnson. Maybe once they grow up.
