Pierce is getting the last laugh, though: The Clippers, even with Blake Griffin injured, have won seven in a row, including beating the Trail Blazers Wednesday night (17 points in 24 minutes, including 5-of-6 three-pointers). Pierce, who’s 38, is struggling immensely this season – just 35% from the field and a career-low 5.4 ppg, but he’s here for his clutch shooting in the postseason, which is what they’re saving him for.
