The Miami Dolphins have hired Adam Gase, the team announced. The deal is reportedly for five years and a press conference is scheduled for later this afternoon.

It will be the first head coaching gig for Gase, who spent last year as the offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears. He held the same position for the Denver Broncos from 2013-2014.

Gase, 37, will become the NFL’s youngest head coach. He’s considered a quarterback whisperer and has previously had success with Peyton Manning and Jay Cutler.

Increasing Ryan Tannehill’s production will be one of his major areas of focus.
