Jordan Spieth is leading the first tournament he’s entered in 2016, the Hyundai Tournament of Champions. Is anyone else not surprised by this? Is it too early to say he’s already on fire? Spieth’s first bogey came at the par-3 eighth during the third round. He’s currently 24-under par, one off the record set by Ernie Els, through three rounds at Plantation Course at Kapalua and four strokes ahead of Brooks Koepka.

Spieth dominated last season winning the Masters, U.S. Open, barely missing a playoff at The Open Championship, and finishing second to Jason Day at the PGA Championship. He also claimed the FedExCup trophy and won the final regular season event at the TOUR Championship, along with three other wins and four second place finishes, one third place finish, and 15 top ten finishes. Needless to say, last year will be tough to follow up for the young Texan, but it looks like he’s ready to make another splash.

This leaderboard is spectacular. So much young talent. Should be a great year of golf.
