Broncos-Steelers Trash Talk Elevated to "I'm Cutting Him" Levels

Remember this dirty hit by Pittsburgh lineman Cody Wallace (#72) back in December? The cheap shot ended up knocking Denver safety David Bruton out of the game. He suffered a broken leg.

The Steelers, who won a hard fought game with the Bengals last week – one that featured some pulverizing hits and flag-worthy collisions – should probably keep their heads on a swivel. The Broncos haven’t forgotten Wallace’s hit.

Darian Stewart, a Denver safety who didn’t even play in the last game against Pittsburgh, had this to say:

"“It’s not going to be anything as far as cheap or anything. We’re going to get him between the lines, between the whistles. He’s going to be sore after the game, that’s how I see it. He comes out on a screen, he better not come at (me). I’m cutting him. That’s where I’m at with it. You got me mad right now just thinking about it.”"

Cutting him? Sounds Last Boyscout-ish. I like how he tossed in, “That’s where I’m at with it.” Very street. Very “this isn’t over.” Very, “I don’t care if I get ejected.”
