Von Miller Got Sick After Eating Mozzarella Sticks from Movie Theater
By Kyle Koster
Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller missed practice on Wednesday as his teammates prepped for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He blamed his absence on a poor decision made during a Tuesday night outing to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens. That decision? Paying for overpriced movie theater mozzarella sticks.
"Star pass rusher Von Miller indulged in the delicious greasy snack while taking in a Tuesday night showing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Midway through the show, his stomach started feeling funny, and wound up dozing off before the climax of the film. By Wednesday morning, it was clear he was too sick to practice, and coaches sent him home. “The Force struck back,” Miller quipped Thursday afternoon."
Miller was back at practice today and has sworn off fried cheese in the future, saying one “can’t put regular gas in a Ferrari.”
I’m going to go ahead and show my ignorance here by asking if mozzarella sticks are readily available at most cinemas. I can’t recall ever seeing them offered. They’ve either been too high or too low class for the venue.
It’s best to stick to the classics like Sour Patch Kids and Sno-Caps. Very little risk involved there. As opposed to taking a chance on cooked fare that may or may not have been around since the Silent Era.
