Kevin Durant Does Not Hate The Media Per Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant has had cantankerous encounters with the media the past calendar year. He had comments about “the media” a couple days ago. In November, he called “the media” out for treating Kobe Bryant “like shit.” Last October, he called Stephen A. Smith a liar. Last February, he asserted media members “really don’t know shit.”

These incidents, logically, have led folks to believe Durant does not like the media. He disputed the notion, asserting that he actually loves the media.

Honest discourse, fair treatment, and no one taking anything personally are noble goals. Durant not treating “the media” as a hostile, monolithic scapegoat for every mild frustration would be a good place to start.
