Canadian Referee Punches Junior Player, Trainer Attacks Referee

Canada loves hockey. Based on this video, they sometime love it a little too much. Here are a group of junior hockey players (ages 16-21) dropping their gloves during a recent game. One of the players did not stop fighting to the satisfaction of a referee so the ref hit him. Then the ref kind of hit another player. That’s when a trainer – possibly the father of one of the players – comes running across the ice and takes out the referee.
