Arsenal are predictable. Per Mertesacker was sent off for a lame tackle on Diego Costa, denying a goal scoring opportunity. Arsenal and down to 10 men and, after a subsequent Costa goal, their nemesis Chelsea lead 1-0.
The Gunners have not beaten Chelsea in eight EPL matches. They have not scored in their last five. They have three red cards this season, all against Chelsea.
The Blues are in 14th place with just 25 points from 22 matches. The only team that hasn’t realized that: Arsenal.
