Tom From MySpace Offers to Pay Tim Lincecum's Salary if Giants Re-Sign Him

Tom, my oldest friend from the heady days of MySpace, is apparently a big San Francisco Giants fan, and moreover a huge Tim Lincecum fan.
Yes, Tom Anderson, the founder of MySpace, who hasn’t changed his profile picture since 2003, is begging the Giants to re-sign Lincecum and has even offered to pay all of his salary. I’m sure “The Freak” would approve of that.
Can we keep @timLincecum if I pay for it? #6manrotation ! @sfgiants @knbr @extrabaggs @mccoveychron pic.twitter.com/tQG2jmG0Mt

Lincecum is currently a free agent and hasn’t drawn much interest, mostly because he’s been objectively terrible over the past few seasons. In the last four years, Lincecum has a record of 39-42, with a 4.68 ERA and a 1.40 WHIP in 615.2 innings. The two-time NL Cy Young Award winner and four-time All-Star just isn’t what he used to be.
But hey, Tom wants Lincecum back, and can you really blame the guy who founded MySpace for living in the past?
