Jordan Spieth is collecting a whopping $1.2 million dollars just to PLAY in the Singapore Open according to Golf Channel. Spieth voiced that the travel has taken a toll on him mentally and physically after the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, but it’s hard to turn down a million dollar appearance fee that is more than the winner of the tournament will collect.

"“I was very tired on Sunday from a long week there [in Abu Dhabi]” he said at a news conference on Tuesday. “By the time we start Thursday, I’ll be ready to go with four full days of my best stuff.”"

Spieth isn’t playing his best golf and he’s still tied for sixth place after carding a first round 67; his second round was cut short due to heavy rain, but he was even through six holes.

Spieth will finish his second round on Saturday.
