" Mike Francesa read John Scott’s comments, and it was amazingly awful. https://t.co/B7q3vOEHIS @awfulannouncing pic.twitter.com/9jR6dL7P44 — RN’s Funhouse (@RNs_Funhouse) January 29, 2016 "

In our neverending effort to chronicle the chronicling of Mike and the Mad Dog’s every moves, we bring you this ordio of Mike Francesa simultaneously learning of and reporting on the saga of John Scott. Scott, as you may know, is an NHL enforcer who was voted into the All-Star game, but was traded and sent down to the minors. The NHL tried to keep him out of the game, fans revolted, the league capitulated, and Scott wrote about the tribulations in The Players Tribune.

If you’re a man or woman on the run, the top is the most pertinent segment, while the bottom provides the full context as well as Mike’s authoritative explanation as to why All-Star games in all sports have lost their cachet.
