TMZ has obtained a letter sent by Aaron Hernandez from prison and it’s not light on aggressive statements. The former New England Patriot, writing to a “female pen pal,” begins by attacking the recipient for her criticisms in a previous note.

"“If you really think I’m a killer and that dangerous, or a gangbanger you would never give me your real address because I could easily send my “so called thugs” as you mentioned I chill with to your house and what would happen then doesn’t need to be explained,” Hernandez writes."

He then suggests she “tie a cinderblock to your ankles and jump in a deep body of water” or “buy the most powerful firecracker in the world that’s possible to buy, tie it to your face with duct tape, light it and wait for your head to explode.”

Really charming stuff. The violent tone is disturbing enough but it’s the criminally long sentences which really astound.

Hernandez, currently serving a life sentence for killing Odin Lloyd in 2013, later adds that he has a television in his cell and still follows his former teammates.

"“The closest I was with probably was Brady in whom I love to death and always will,” Hernandez shares. “But was cool with Julez [Edelman], Branch [Deion] and the BEST TE to ever walk on a football field Gronk!”"

His view of team owner Robert Kraft, however, is less favorable. Hernandez calls him “fake [expletive] non loyal” and alleges Kraft “told me he loved me everytime [sic] he seen me but obviously shows his word aint [sic] [expletive].”

The full letter is here and is worth a look if only as a reminder of how neatly the ex-tight end prints.
