Jimmy Butler is currently leading the NBA in minutes player per game for the third straight season*. Butler played 47 minutes in Chicago’s 10-point overtime loss to the Utah Jazz on Monday night. He shot 10-17 from the field and had 26 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.

It was the consummate Jimmy Butler game – right down to the game result. The Bulls have now lost two straight and 9 of their last 13 games. After the game against Utah, Butler sounded a bit sad. Responding to every question about his health and minutes totals with “nobody cares.”

*Fun fact: Luol Deng led the league in MPG the two seasons previous.
