It’s National Signing Day and that means things are about to get very weird as America’s most athletic youths make personal decisions bound to offend and delight grownups. Announcing a college choice is now something that must be accompanied by a zany activity.
Deontay Anderson, a four-star safety, took the fad to its logical conclusion by incorporating skydiving into his process. He announced his decision to attend Ole Miss one safely on land.
Say what you want about the ridiculousness of NSD but it’s inarguable that people have the most mental clarity while plummeting out of an airplane. Everyone knows this to be fact.
