Marcus Smart's Dramatic Flop Was Effective Defense Against Carmelo Anthony

Carmelo Anthony backed down Marcus Smart during Tuesday night’s New York Knicks-Boston Celtics game with alarming force. Melo’s bump sent Smart flying through the air like a rag doll. The only logical explanation is that Anthony is the strongest man alive because the NBA’s strict honor code forbids flopping.
Smart’s fall proved to be an effective form of defense as Anthony bricked a short fadeaway off the side of the backboard.
The Celtics would go on to win, 97-89.
