Chris Paul Got a Late, Questionable Technical Foul From His Old Friend Lauren Holtkamp

Chris Paul was called for a foul and a quick technical with 20-seconds left and the Clippers trailing the Timberwolves by 2-points. Paul and J.J. Reddick trapped Ricky Rubio just over half-court and Paul was justifiably whistled for a personal foul. That’s when Paul, who complains about everything, clapped his hands and turned away upset. By CP3 standards, this was the equivalent of telling the referee “good call.” Referee Lauren Holtkamp immediately T’d up Paul.

This is not the first time that Holtkamp called a quick technical foul on Chris Paul. A year ago tomorrow, Holtkamp gave Paul a questionable T during a Clippers blowout loss to the Cavaliers. After the game, Paul criticized Holtkamp and was fined $25,000 for his comments. The good news is, she’s consistent.

Ricky Rubio made the technical free throw and the Wolves went on to win 108-102.
