The Turf at Levi's Stadium is Causing Problems for Both Teams

Through one half of football, we have a close game, mostly dominated by the defenses, with Denver’s only touchdown coming off the Von Miller forced fumble on a sack of Cam Newton. We also have lots of field issues with player footing.

The notable one was Manning slipping (on a play that was challenged for down by contact). This is also your reminder that–even though the NFL was in charge of the field for this game–this is the same stadium where Justin Tucker hit a sinkhole on a field goal attempt in the regular season.
