Kings "Plan" to Fire George Karl, Whenever They Get Around to It

The vultures have been circling George Karl all season, but came into focus again over the weekend when the Kings gave up about a thousand points to the Nets. Anyways, per ESPN’s Marc Stein, the tenure will officially come to an end soon:

There are myriad issues in the Sacramento organization, and it’s not as though Karl outright deserves to keep his job or anything when the team is 21-31 (and apparently have optional shootarounds where almost nobody shows up), but if they’re planning on getting rid of him what is the point in putting these leaks out there instead of just doing the damn thing?
