Nicolas Colsaerts Smashed a Golf Ball Through an Open Balcony Door in His Hotel Room

Nicolas Colsaerts has nine professional wins under his belt. He hasn’t played in a PGA Tour event since the 2014 season and has focused mainly on European Tour events where he’s seen mild success. Maybe that’s because his practice routine is a little odd. During Colsaerts stay in Abu Dhabi for the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, he smashed a three-iron out of his hotel room through an open door to his balcony where the railing is also glass.

It’s an interesting technique to work on trajectory and ball control, and hopefully the ball didn’t hit anyone or damage anything. We don’t recommend trying this at home or while on vacation unless you feel like replacing a damaged sliding glass door.
