Timofey Mozgov's Missed Dunk is Oddly Mesmerizing

The problem with being 7-foot-1 is that everyone expects you to be able to convert every dunk attempt. Sure, you arms can nearly reach the rim while standing flat-footed but don’t people understand how hard it is to stuff a basketball while defenders casually look on from six feet away?
Poor Timofey Mozgov is the latest casualty in the war on big men thanks to his unsuccessful slam attempt during Monday night’s Cavaliers-Kings game. He just wasn’t able to get enough lift or apply enough force to earn the easy two points. It’s almost as if he went for — and achieved — maximum sadness.
