Last May, Michelle Beadle renounced her WWE fanhood after Triple H, a longtime performer and now company executive as the son-in-law of Vince McMahon, congratulated his friend Floyd Mayweather for defeating Manny Pacquaio. Beadle took issue with what she viewed as WWE’s institutional support of a serial domestic abuser, and this was also shortly after Mayweather’s camp had blocked her and Rachel Nichols’ press credentials. At the time, Beadle gave a very long explanation for her decision with regards to WWE.

Last night, WWE Raw was in Anaheim, and Beadle reconciled with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon (and later appeared on camera at the show in the front row):

This morning, Pittsburgh radio host Mark Madden asked about what happened to change her mind:

Beadle then published a snippet of a direct message exchange:

[UPDATE: Madden tweeted that he never said this about Beadle; it is possible that she was remembering this exchange with Philadelphia radio host Mike Missanelli. I emailed her for clarification and have not immediately heard back.]

She appears to be done with this, but Madden continued:

There is a lot we don’t know about the olive branches that were extended behind the scenes from both sides before and while she hashed everything out with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, and Beadle hasn’t publicly said what changed. We’ll likely never know what was said to make them come back together. This isn’t the first time a seething feud has become water under the bridge in the world of professional wrestling, and it won’t be the last.

Before last May, Beadle and WWE did enjoy a symbiotic relationship, which was perhaps most manifest when Brock Lesnar broke the news that he was remaining with the organization in an interview with her on SportsCenter. All of this will be interesting to observe going forward.
