Jim Ross Doesn't Think Undertaker Vs. Braun Strowman Is a Good Idea Right Now

The WWE rumor mill is a constant churn, and over the last couple months there have been murmurs that Vince McMahon wanted The Undertaker and Braun Strowman to fight at WrestleMania. As Vince McMahon has a unilateral voice in the company, there existed (exists?) the possibility of this happening even though Strowman, a behemoth, is so evidently green in the ring that most observers recognized this was a bad idea.

Count Jim Ross among those observers. On a recent episode of his Ross Report podcast, the legendary former play-by-play man voiced opposition to that fantasy booking. He said that “There ain’t no way in hell” that match will happen at Jerryworld, and recognized Strowman’s upside and “unique genetics,” but “Why would you rush him into the front lines when he’s not ready?”

For what it’s worth, the latest rumors involving The Undertaker’s opponent at WrestleMania are that it will be somebody not on WWE’s current roster, which might mean a free agent, somebody from NXT, or somebody who’s injured. Or the rumor could be totally false and/or subject to change! They like to keep us on our toes.
