President Obama in a Hockey-Related Twitter Beef With Canadian Prime Minister

President Barack Obama invited the Chicago Blackhawks over to the White House to hang out yesterday. While there, President Obama joked about hosting Canada at a state dinner next week and said he might leave the Stanley Cup out for his guests to admire. Everyone laughed because Canada loves hockey.

When told about this slight, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau snapped back.

Hopefully, this doesn’t ruin our relationship with Canada. Perhaps the 8 players of Canadian heritage who were on the Stanley Cup-winning team can help fix this.
