The Texas Rangers debuted a promotion yesterday called “Swing For Your Seats.” If you showed up at Globe Life Park on Saturday and put down a 25% deposit on half or full season tickets, you got three swings with a wooden bat against a pitching machine. If you hit a home run, you get your tickets for free. One fan, Byron Anderson, did it. After rounding the bases, Anderson was met at home plate by his son.
