Futuristic Umpire Uses Hoverboard to Work the Bases

There was so much focus on futuristic 2015 baseball (Chicago over Miami in a sweep) that no one bothered to investigate what the sport would look like in 2016.
If they had, they would have discovered umpires zipping around synthetic fields on hoverboards a la Marty McFly.
The field umpire working a recent Johns Hopkins scrimmage utilized the conveyance to patrol his assigned area and looked damn cool doing it.
Base Wars have finally arrived and I, for one, welcome our new robot overlords.
