Tony Romo’s National Fantasy Football Convention has amended its petition to a Texas court to include mention of Rob Gronkowksi’s booze cruise, according to a report from Pro Football Talk.

The lawsuit claims the NFL improperly shut down a planned fantasy football convention in Las Vegas over the summer because it was taking place on casino-owned property.

Romo’s camp apparently noticed a disconnect with that decision and the one made to allow Rob Gronkowski to party it up on the high seas.

"“NFL player Rob Gronkowski hosted a party cruise from Miami to the Bahamas on February 19-22, 2016. The four-day party took place on Norwegian Cruise Line, where Gronkowski’s fans and attendees can take full advantage of Norweigan’s famed ‘Casinos at Sea.’ Photos from the booze-cruise show fans gambling at the on-board casino. The NFL specifically knew about the party cruise and its ties to gambling for more than seven months leading up to the event; yet the NFL took no action to either discipline Rob Gronkowski or prevent the event from taking place.”"

If nothing else the inclusion of this issue could finally help answer the nagging question: does Gronk get free passes in situations where other high-profile players wouldn’t?
