Hot Mic: Carson Wentz Called "Next former Browns' quarterback" on NFL Network

Carson Wentz played for North Dakota State, but is apparently moving up draft boards at the NFL Scouting Combine. NFL Network was about to show Wentz run the 40 when someone – maybe Chris Rose? – called Wentz the “next former Browns quarterback.” Poor kid.

Update: Before they showed Wentz, the commentators were talking about a player who was a bad singer. As Deadspin points out, that was likely Wisconsin’s Joel Stave. It is unclear which poor soul they joked about going to the Browns.
