Shane McMahon made a shocking return to WWE last Monday, and he’ll be fighting the Undertaker at Wrestlemania. Though the two are a combined 96 years old and this is a glaring physical mismatch, we know that Shane O Mac is a damn lunatic who will try everything in his power to steal the show.

Since his return, there’s been lots of speculation that it’s emblematic of a real-life behind the scenes power struggle, and because WWE is a publicly traded company they actually felt compelled to release a statement last week saying this is untrue:

"A WWE spokesman advised against reading too much into Shane’s bid to run “Raw,” saying the son’s merely “playing a character on a TV show.”"

Whatever the case may be, the next five weeks are going to be pretty enjoyable with Shane McMahon back on television. Arguably one of the most fun parts of watching wrestling in 2016 is trying to figure out what’s real and what’s fake, and the storyline is most compelling when the line is blurred.
