ESPN’s Sport Science is a hit or miss segment, but this one was pretty interesting. In tackling Stephen Curry’s game-winning 3-pointer against Oklahoma City on Saturday, it showed how Steph’s release changes when he shoots from deep, where he’s deadly.

The margin of error on these shots is slim, and you have to release the ball faster. Apparently most players change the angle of their legs when they’re shooting from long range like this, but with Curry the alterations come with his elbow and wrist. This was an instructive couple minutes.
