Dick Vitale Announced Classic Movies at a Volume Unsuitable for a Theater

IFC had Dick Vitale record a promo for some of the classic movies playing on the channel in March and it proved to be a pretty good idea. The ESPN announcer, who is always up for pitching whatever product is in front of him, breathed new life into Rocky, Scarface, The Matrix and Jaws.
While Vitale’s enthusiasm is always appreciated, I’m struggling to think of worse company for a movie. Can you imagine having to tackle questions about the plot delivered in that volume and pitch? God bless the unfortunate soul who sat through Inception with him.
