Marc Leishman Got Drenched Attempting a Shot from a Water Hazard

The water claims many victims at Trump National Doral during the WGC-Cadillac Championship. One of those victims during the first round was Marc Leishman. On the 18th hole, Leishman’s drive went just far enough left of the fairway to end up in the lake, but not too far in that he wasn’t forced to take a drop, so for his second shot, the Aussie rolled up his pants and went wading.

He did manage to get the ball out of the water, but got soaked in the process. Leishman walked away with a double bogey.

Sometimes a drop is your best option.
