Mark Sanchez Traded to the Denver Broncos, Will He Back Up Robert Griffin III?

Mark Sanchez, one of the few quarterbacks in the NFL who actually has a winning playoff record – 4-2! All four wins on the road! – was just traded from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Denver Broncos. Ostensibly, he’ll back up … we’re not sure yet.

Sanchez will have better receivers at his disposal than he’s ever had. It’s unclear what his running game will be like – CJ Anderson has signed an offer sheet with Miami; Denver could still match – but he was an average backup in Philadelphia for the last two seasons after spending the first four years of his career with the Jets.
